L’atelier Albatros è preso di mira da un assassino. Una ad una miete le sue vittime a colpi di coltello, riuscendo a tenere nascosto il viso con un casco da motociclista. Giovani fotomodelle, fotografi e proprietari dello studio muoiono mentre Carlo Gunter, un fotografo dongiovanni che lavora presso l’atelier, e la sua assistente Magda Cortis, s’improvvisano detectives. Sarà proprio Carl a porre fine alla scia di delitti fermando la sorella di una giovane modella, legata all’agenzia Albatros, impazzita dopo la sua morte avvenuta a causa di complicazioni durante un aborto. Sceneggiatura discreta, con qualche ovvio buco qua e là, con un grande inizio in sala ginecologica ma con un pretesto ambiguo (forse ridicolo) come l’aborto. Andrea Bianchi, un regista che solitamente i maggiori dizionari del cinema italiano ignorano, dirige questa volta un film, del quale ha scritto anche il soggetto, che ancora oggi si lascia vedere senza troppo annoiare nonostante qualche nudo di troppo ed un finale impensabile (e quindi improponibile). Colpi di scena telefonati che ricalcano l’atmosfera alla Dario Argento, senza però mai coglierne la forza. Se c’è qualcosa veramente da salvare in questo film è l’ambiente torbido che ogni tanto emerge del mondo della moda, fatto di scambi, padronanze sessuali, ricatti e smania di arrivare. Qualche spunto sicuramente è di lontana origine come Sei donne per l’assassino (1964) di Mario Bava, al quale anche il titolo sembra rimandare, ma soprattutto l’ambientazione in un atelier. Ultimo thriller erotico per l’attrice Edwige Fenech, prossima ormai a passare definitivamente alla commedia sexy (la scena conclusiva, a questo proposito, è più che sincera: Carlo si offre di sodomizzare Magda per evitare che rimanga incinta (?!))... |
